Everyday Shamanism
Shamanic practice for women who lead.
A modern practice of core shamanism, made everyday: the drum, the journey, and the walk back into Monday morning.
You've optimised everything except the one who's carrying it.
The company runs. The team is good. The numbers, mostly, behave. And still there's a quiet, expensive tiredness underneath it, the kind no calendar audit reaches. You're running on borrowed energy and calling it discipline.
You know the 5am mind. Awake before the alarm, already three moves ahead, already braced. You know what it is to lead like someone you're not: putting on a version of yourself each morning that other people find easier to follow. And you know the strange, private thing: a relationship with money that doesn't match the spreadsheet. The figures are fine. The feeling isn't.
None of that is a flaw in the plan. It's a sign that the woman carrying the plan has been left out of it.
This is the part nobody put on the roadmap.Change nothing
365more 5am mornings
Awake before the alarm, three moves ahead, already braced. The company gets another year of you. You don't.
The usual fix
0of the tiredness reached
Another calendar audit, another planner, another quarter of discipline. It tidies the diary and never touches what's underneath.
The Remembering
6evenings, one a week
A practice you keep for good, and the walk back into Monday morning. £555 while it's founding.
The Method
A modern practice of core shamanism, made everyday.
Arrive, and close the noise. Ten minutes of nothing being asked of you. Nothing to answer. Nothing to run.
Follow the drum. A steady rhythm, headphones on, eyes closed, and the thinking mind finally has something else to do.
What's waiting for you. Many people experience an image, a presence, an animal. Some experience nothing the first time. Both are fine.
Bring it into Monday morning. Into the board meeting. Into the conversation you've been circling for a month.
A messenger, not a master.

80 people.
One full moon.
July 2026, Mindvalley University in Tallinn. A full-moon drum ceremony. Eighty people on the floor, one drum. Nobody knew quite what they were walking into, and most of them didn't want to get up afterwards.
Before any of this: a finalist on BBC One's The Apprentice, then an agency founder, then building businesses in AI. The CV people expect. Then Playa del Carmen, 2021, where I learned to journey, and everything I'd been optimising started to look like a very good disguise. More than a hundred journeys since.
In a journey you meet something. It isn't the same for everyone, and it's rarely what you'd have chosen.
Some meet a wolf. Some meet an owl. I met a blue dragon.
Held With Integrity
I don't call myself a shaman. I'm a shamanic practitioner, a messenger, not a master. The word matters, so I use the accurate one.
Two seats in every circle are given, not sold. No application theatre: if the practice is for you and the price isn't, say so.
A share of future training revenue goes to indigenous-led organisations. This practice came from somewhere. It shouldn't only flow one way.
The free journey stays free. The full-moon circle stays open. What's sold is the teaching and the container around it, never the moment itself.
One list for everything: the founding circle, private journeys, the retreat, and a free 15-minute drum journey as a welcome.
The gift stays free forever; the business is how the gift travels.
